The workspace revolution with Bookker

With the culture of work-life balance and the demand for flexibility on the part of employees, many companies began to change their assistance model. Although, the option of teleworking was timidly offered.

The pandemic arrived, and there was no choice but to work from home. All connected through a screen. But, with the 'return to normality', companies, although they have opted for a hybrid model, have had to manage the return to the office in a staggered manner.

How have organizations managed the return to workspaces? To guarantee the physical and mental well-being of workers during the 'return' operation, many companies have opted for platforms such as Bookker.

Bookker and workspace management

Workspace management has become more necessary than ever. "Companies look to us for a solution to improve their efficiency, increase their productivity and provide security to their employees," says Miguel Ángel Orellana, CEO of Bookker.

Through augmented reality technology, Bookker facilitates the management of workspaces. Unlike other technologies, it does not require any type of hardware or device. “There is no contact”, points out Orellana, “and, therefore, it does not require maintenance or complex installations, and favors sustainability”. With just a mobile device, you can access information in real time.

This is one of Bookker's differentiating aspects compared to other companies; added to the fact that its tool allows you to manage the entire space, not only workstations, but also parking spaces, meeting rooms, dining places…"everything that can be labeled, can be managed"... and help in the management of teleworking scenarios, being an essential ally for organizations in the design of the future of work.

The management of workspaces, better with feedback

The Bookker team emphasizes the approach to the client, ensuring that everything they have advanced to date has been thanks to the feedback of the people who use the tool, allowing them to know what the concerns and priorities of each company are.

Technology must be at the service of people and, for this, the team is very attentive to new trends and demands of its users. And it seems to be working: “there are several clients who have come to Bookker thanks to the recommendation of other clients. Some have also become partners, offering the solution to their customers. Mission accomplished”, says José Luis Casal, CMO of the company.

A good year for Bookker

Bookker, which began its journey before the pandemic, has experienced unquestionable success during it. In just two years, the Spanish startup has managed to make a profit, multiplying its turnover by six in 2021 and increasing its team by 50%.

“We are very satisfied with the figures obtained. They are the results of hard work and implementation at full speed, to adapt our technology to the needs of the moment”, explains Ricardo Ureta CTO of Bookker.

The company has achieved a presence in 15 countries, where it manages more than 200,000 jobs. Currently, he is in charge of managing the corporate spaces of Telefónica, Danone, Bimbo, MásMóvil, Banco Itau, OceanWinds, Laboratorios Ferrer, Toyota, Claro, CBRE, ISS Facility Management, among other large companies.

And for 2022?

The figures could not be more encouraging, expecting to triple its turnover and double its team, in addition to consolidating its network of partners and international presence.

The project will continue to evolve. And it is that they are working to offer a more complete experience to users, incorporating Artificial Intelligence, Gamification, API (Application Programming Interface). "As well as more functionalities that further enrich this experience by taking advantage of the potential of Augmented Reality", explains Jesús Lobo, COO of Bookker.

Looking ahead to 2022, the company is working on a project in which articles, papers and success stories will be published, "together with reference entities in the world of the 'future of work,'" announces José Luis Casal. Among the next steps proposed, there is also an increase in actions focused on consolidating the network of international partners and providing them with all the necessary support and training.
