Now, it is a requirement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Companies, teams and customers.<\/strong> Digital transformation is the evolution of how these three actors <strong>interact<\/strong> with each other, how they process <strong>information<\/strong> and how they improve their <strong>operations<\/strong>. And, from this more social point of view, there is no doubt that culture plays an essential role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Digital transformation in the business landscape <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With <strong>85% of companies<\/strong> that have started their <strong>digitalization process<\/strong>, Spain is in a leading position in the digital transformation of Spanish-speaking countries. This is according to the report <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itreseller.es\/al-dia\/2023\/02\/el-85-de-las-empresas-espanolas-ha-iniciado-su-proceso-de-digitalizacion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Think Digital Report 2022: Barometer on digital transformation in Spain and Latin America&#8221;,<\/a> conducted by Inesdi Business Techschool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Already <strong>65%<\/strong> of organizations in the country <strong>began<\/strong> their digital <strong>transformation<\/strong> process <strong>more than a year ago<\/strong>, and an additional 64% are expected to join this trend by 2023.<br><br>And in Latin America? Continuing with the report, <strong>71%<\/strong> of companies have started their digital <strong>transformation<\/strong> process, with countries such as Colombia (80%), Mexico (74%), Argentina (74%), Peru (65%) and Ecuador (58%) at the forefront.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, not all is optimism. Despite considerable progress, digital transformation still faces significant obstacles. <strong>Cultural resistance<\/strong>, <strong>lack of specialized skills<\/strong> and coexistence with <strong>traditional methodologies<\/strong> are barriers yet to be overcome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A question of culture <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the race to <strong>digital transformation<\/strong>, companies are often at a crossroads between hiring external experts or investing in internal training to acquire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bookkercorp.com\/2023\/05\/25\/talento-cambio\/\">new <strong>talent and skills.<\/strong><\/a> While the digitization of products and services is a priority, innovation emerges as an essential facet to adapt to this new paradigm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond technological investment and the acquisition of cutting-edge tools, corporate culture stands out as a fundamental part of this process. In fact, the &#8220;<strong>Think Digital Report 2022<\/strong>&#8221; underlines the need for a clear <strong>purpose<\/strong>, a <strong>digital vision<\/strong> and open <strong>leadership<\/strong> that fosters cross-cutting collaboration to consolidate digitalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Already in 2017, a Capgemini study shed light on this topic, revealing that <strong>62% of companies<\/strong> perceive corporate <strong>culture<\/strong> as the main <strong>challenge<\/strong> when embarking on digital transformation. This culture not only determines how decisions are made and how we work together, but must also reflect values that promote <strong>innovation, adaptability and continuous learning<\/strong>. This will enable organizations to respond with agility and success to the challenges of today&#8217;s dynamic digital landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cultural barriers to digital transformation <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>While Spain has demonstrated significant commitment and growth in the area of <strong>digital transformation<\/strong>, there are still cultural barriers that hinder the full incorporation of digital transformation into the country&#8217;s business fabric. Among them: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resistance to change <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This cultural barrier manifests itself in a fear of the digital world and a reluctance to leave traditional systems and processes behind.
